Was the truck going over the hill really an accident? And why was there a single footprint on the man's body? An autopsy spurs further puzzles. Steven F. Havill paints a vivid portrait of this small New Mexico town in the sixth entry of this atmospheric, entertaining series.

my last read!

Boohoo! i can't believe I have read ALL the Posadas County books! what am I to do! These books are good stories without the seemingly necessary sex scenes of other books, they are just good straight, interesting and enjoyable reads. If anyone knows of a series in this same catorgory please let me know!
I will miss Bill Gasner very much!

THE FORTH TIME IS MURDER

This is another good book in this series. Sheriff Estelle Reyes Gusman is in charge. Bill Gastner has retired. Or Semi retired. He stills help out when needed. Estelle is still recovering from the last book. She gets called to a wreck at first looks like an accident. But there is much more. There is a scam going on. She has to figure it all out. Not crazy about the narrator

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrators for previous books in this series were superior. Characters were not well differentiated.

When will the story start?

The author is certainly caught up in writing incredibly lengthy descriptions about nothing of any importance whatsoever. Character development is one thing, but he forgot about the plot. This might have made an OK short story.
