Jesus is your best friend

What did you like best about The Friends We Keep? What did you like least?

I was able to relate to this book in the beginning, but 1/4 way through it starts recounting in specific detail personal stories of very small issues within the author's group of friends, and then somehow relating every one of the issues to Jesus. If Jesus is your best friend, then you will like this book. The narrator has a very flat tone which sometimes leads me to zoning out.
