A work of art

This story was truly amazing to listen to, which had me glued all the way to the end. loved the way the story went from the beginning to the end.

The perfect summer listen

A perfect example of 1980's paperback horror. A lot of action, a little sex and whole lot of disguting apocalyptic monsters. Fast, fun and suspenseful, a perfect way to spend a few summer afternoons listening in my studio.

Surprisingly good!

I really thought this to be popcorn trash, but it turned out to be a lot more scary and compelling than I expected! It’s a truly horrifying concept with bonkers set pieces, and based on interesting scientific principles (which might be garbage- I have no idea). It written in the 80s but holds up pretty well (setting aside a few moments of weird misogyny), and it doesn’t overstay its welcome.

If you’re like me and you like stories about an insane uber fungus consuming the world and manipulating the minds of humanity toward it’s weird goals, you’ll love this book!

Immensely enjoyed The Fungus... Great story which I could see being made into on hell of a story. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
