Mollie does everything beautifully, excellently, and with great generosity. Her book is no different! This book will now be the first resource I put into a person's hands when they ask me how to learn Irish. Her tone is inviting and encouraging, creating proper conditions for a person to learn with as little discomfort as possible, even when discussing painful challenges within the community, our cultural inheritance, or difficulties connected to the language itself. I was, as always, impressed with her creativity and balance, and nourished by her joyful spark. This book is a great resource.

A note on format. I listened to the audiobook, which was delightful as Mollie is truly unique with her beautiful enunciation, but I have enough Irish to see the words spelled out in my head when she's using Irish. If I didn't have that, I would want to be reading and listening.

Excellent as Always

I’ve been a student of Molly for 2 1/2 years now, and this is as expected an excellent addition to her Irish language learning materials. However, I do feel like some retakes should have been done during the pronunciation guides because she slips back-and-forth between pronouncing the names of letters in Irish and English, which tends to get very very confusing when you were trying to listen along.

Inspirational and informational, but could have used a couple extra takes on the pronunciation
