This is a funny cozy mystery. Alex helps Jack after she gets killed. She comes back as a ghost and helps him solve cases. There is some funny parts in this story. Darlene Allen does a good job narrating this book.

This was a interesting book with a fun turn on a tragedy that happens very early in the story. It could have been a dark story but ends up not being so.
The narrator in this story is spectacular. I have read a few books narrated by her and I think she really has a gift for making the characters come alive. I now look for books narrated by her.

Simple story and interesting concept of a cop killed on duty coming back as a spirit to help her partner find the killer. I didn't like the narrator at all. It would be a cute movie.

NOT YOUR USUAL GHOST STORY indeed, this ghost could take solid form, type, speak and use a gun. Intrigued? I spent many fun hours being entertained by this police officer and his partner in these three books. They had multiple cases to solve and each one involved ghostly wiles to get the job done. The narration suited the stories and I recommend this series to fans of ghosts, detective and mystery's.
