Good story, voice annoying to son

We loved the story but my 13 yo son (main listener) did not care for the narrator at all.

read this as a kid, and came back to reread at 30.

still a good book. I will continue the rest of the series again. glad and surprised to find it

Loved it!

After tiring of mispronouncing words out loud to my child, I gave in and got the audible version. Best decision for this book! The performance is spot on and does the book justice. The story is captivating. I found myself wanting to push forward despite the kid tiring out. Absolutely loved it.

Captivating and thought out plot

Narrator has a unique and suited voice, I love this plot and the historic accuracy, I’m 13 and very much enjoyed— would have loved some integrated music for specific scenes and a more captivating cover, 9/10 listen, would recommend.
