Learning for a cause.

Tom Holmes, BA, MA in Education writes audio hockey books for teens that stress positive values by playing hockey.

About the book: From our youth, we all remember a piece of clothing that was very special to us. For example, a scarf, a hat, or a sweater that has long been discarded; and yet, from time to time, it comes back to us as a wonderful memory.

After many decades, for me, it was the memory of a Chicago Blackhawk sweater. At first, I hated this sweater, but through "the gift of hockey", I learned to love it. That's the gift. We all learn from our wonderful national sport.

About the authors: Tom Holmes' books have been written up in major newspapers such as The Montreal Gazette. His books have won literary awards, and he is a member of The Society for International Hockey Research, where he has been asked to present papers at conferences.
