An inspiring story. Great characters

The book was wonderful. It gave a realistic picture of what it was like to live during this war. The characters were well developed and realistic. I recommend it highly.

Solid

Almost chucked this one. It seems that I always struggle getting a new one started and then about the time this one was about to get deep sixed here came a love scene. Pulled me in and it was amazing from then on. Sex was not the emphasis here but i learned much about the plight of the Jews. Stick with it. You will be rewarded.

Very sad , courageous. So very painful at times to listen to.. So well written it truly kept me engaged.

The struggles of life and love during war.

i liked the timelines in history. I enjoyed listening to the performance while doing yard work.

The story is riveting! I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. so much so that I couldn't put it down! I was listening in the car, at home, even at work. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a good historical fiction top get captivated by! Loved it!
