Serenity Springs is a picturesque small town where everyone knows your name.
Well, that was the case until one phone call changed everything...

PI Bridget Hartley is obsessed with all things mystery.
She even has a reputation for being Serenity’s go-to detective.
With the exception of small-town drama and the occasional crime, life in Serenity is serene.
Until a call from panicked parents searching for missing teens sets off a chain of events that no one could have foreseen.

Could hormones and young love be the reasons for their abrupt disappearance?
While searching for the missing lovebirds, Bridget stumbles upon a string of bizarre and unfortunate events.
Events with potential connections to other missing teen couples.

With odd circumstances surrounding all the disappearances, it seems breathtaking views and idyllic springs aren’t the only things Serenity is serving.
As the dominoes that kept the town together begin to fall, Bridget finds her own life spiraling out of control.

Sometimes life hits you like a tsunami, and the only way to survive is to hold on for dear life.
Will the girl in the Springs discover what she’s truly made of and save the town?

I never write reviews but felt compelled to write about this series. The ending was so abrupt I was stunned. Left hanging regarding the missing family member and inlaw. Have to buy the next in the series for the resolution. I’ve listened to book number three now and they all end the same way. I will not buy the next book in this series. THIS AUTHOR WILL GET NO MORE OF MY MONEY!!! It’s a great way for him to ensure that he makes money on all the books.

Horrible ending

My title says it all. I don't mind suspending disbelief, but to think the police chief would team up with a newbie PI whose case load consists of finding lost hamsters and jewelry at the nursing home is beyond ludicrous. Also, the main character seems like she's a character in the Little House on the Prairie, despite some scandalous (eye roll) sex. Just please. If this is supposed to be a cozy mystery, it falls short because there is nothing clever in any of the characters. Talented high school level writing, at best. I tried to return the title when it was clear it was Dull, but I couldn't. ::sigh::

Boring and Absolutely Absurd

The leaps the characters take are astounding. The main character lacks a lot, but most obvious she lacks intelligence. She’s supposed to be a budding PI with a knack for solving crimes but falls into every pitfall imaginable. The villains are absurd. The main characters reactions to almost every traumatic event, is so subdued, her mind wonders & she stats to contemplate her romantic interest while in these life threatening situations. I hopes it’d get better. It did not.

Narrator used same voice throughout, except her bad Brit & equally bad southern accent.
