Don’t go into the woods. Because you’re in for a big surprise…

Annie Ashworth is currently off duty. With her baby bump growing fast, she is under strict instructions to stay away from police work and look after herself, especially as she has a history of leading danger right to her door. So when her police officer husband, Will, is called to the discovery of a skeleton buried out in the local woods, Annie tries to keep out of the investigation. But as another body is discovered and her own niece suddenly goes missing, staying away just isn’t an option.

As Annie is soon to discover, a picture really does tell a thousand stories. But which one leads to a killer?

Throughly enjoy the Annie Graham series. This book took me by surprise at the end

Love love love

I enjoy the stories but I really want to get a message to the narrator to stop making Annie’s voice so silly and childish. Seems to have gotten worse as the series goes along. It simply isn’t a believable voice any more and I will stop listening to the series. She’s a grown woman.

Narration issues

Brilliant, full of suspense, you can't stop listening. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The narrator’s voice of the adult main character is grating enough to forego the story. She is an adult woman who sounds like a hyper 10 year old girl. Too bad because story is good.

Good storyline but narrator makes it difficult to enjoy

I had high hopes, the narrative is terrible she just goes on with no emotion. I love Helen but this book is not one I can finish. I prefer the crime with no ghosts.

Not what I hoped for
