The history of the Christian church pivots on the doctrine of justification by faith. Once the core of the Reformation, the church today often ignores or misunderstands this foundational doctrine. Theologian James White calls believers to a fresh appreciation of, understanding of, and dedication to the great doctrine of justification and then provides an exegesis of the key Scripture texts on this theme.

The depth of this study is great. The Greek translation helps the connection. When he mentions early that an English only theology is dangerous.

James whites ministry has been a tremendous tool in my walk with the Lord. As in most of his other material the exegesis is sound, the doctrine well defended and the arguments quite inpregnable.

Pure exegesis

This book presents one of the most in-depth and irrefutable arguments to show that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone for the glory of God alone. The depth to which Dr. White examines phrases that most people would pass over, is astounding and inspiring. I feel much more knowledgeable having read, or more so listen to, this book

Wonderful, clear, exposition of texts on biblical justification

This book cannot make it more clear that salvation is a work of God. Justification comes from the gift of faith. Born of God. What proceeds from a new birth is then good works
