Exciting audiobook

I enjoyed this audiobook quite a bit. I haven't heard or read a werewolf story in quite some time and I remember now that these are fantastic! Christopher and Dante are werewolves and this is a fun adventure which is well narrated. Makes for a fun, entertaining listen!

Sinks its Teeth into You!

The Golden Apple's opening lines set the pace for this action-packed adventure that emphasizes deep characterization without sacrificing thrills. The interior pain Dante carries over the course of his journey is reflected in his changing aura as he grows in strength and maturity. His adventure drives him in and out of darkness, paralleling his personal conflict. Mathews paints a vivid, lived-in world of dark magic while taking care to avoid too much exposition. I'm eager to continue other books in this series and learn more of the rich mythology.

A Howling Good Time!

I hadn’t gotten into a werewolf story in ages and this reminded me how fun and wild they can be. The characters, especially Christopher and Dante, are engaging and the adventure kept me hooked from start to finish.

Stakes go up

I love it when stakes get escalating, and in book 2, they just keep getting higher and higher. I am always stressed that Zeus is just going to completely lose it and destroy everything, so ya, it has me worried listening through the night.
