Brilliant work

Kate Wilhelm is master of the page-turner, a story that grips you and flows seamlessly. Loved the narrator Carrington MacDuffie equally, beautiful vocal inflections and gorgeous pacing. Congratulations to all involved in this project!! I heartily recommend the Barbara Holloway series, it's riveting as well.

OMG! I love Kate Wilhelmina

This is one of the best books I have ever listened to. Kate is well known for her books about investigating and being a trial lawyer. But this book is about a family and all that happens to them over the course of about 10 years. It is beautifully written and while there are some horrible situations, it is also very touching. She fleshes out the characters so well that you feel like you know them. There is a beautiful love story in the middle of the whole thing. I am going to listen to this again

I love this book and author. One of my faves. The narrator is brilliant. Enjoy!

Not as good as expected

This book started out with a bang, but sort of meandered the rest of the way. The narrator got on nerves after awhile.
