"Once a runner always a runner" should be the theme for this novell as Rachael never quit gets away from being manipulated into doing just that. Th characterization of each individuals are well defined to the plot of the storyline and keeps me wanting to know what twist and turn is coming and how will the heroine fair in surviving another supernatural onslaught. I love the narrator's performance for the story and excellent vocal skills.

The story was excellent. My only issue with this book was the over-explaining of every little detail. It was just too much this time. I hope the next book moves along better. Otherwise, I loved it.

I've read the whole series, and decided to listen as well. sometimes, listening to an audiobook (or seeing a movie) it doesn't live up to expectations, and maybe the voices don't match. that's not the case with this reading. I am able to enjoy the series all over again with the voices fitting my imagination :)
