Truly a great story told by a story great story teller. The heroics ,resolve and humor of desperate men who overcame tremendous odds to rejoin the fight. Kudos to these brave heroes May lord hold them in the palm of his hands.

exciting and moving

a great listen. plenty of wwi background to set scene but doesn't get bogged down. loved insights into individual escapees.

Amazing story and description

This book has one of the most detailed and fun-to-read descriptions I have ever read. 10/10 would read again.

Good story, bad writing.

The book just wasn’t very engaging and the authors voice made it ten times worse.
