Another great story

I love that we still get glimpses of the Charlie world. It was fun hearing Eric’s tale. Can’t wait to see what is next.

Always amazing!

Darynda always does amazing work. I’m just sad the novellas are so short. But still great!

Glad to Be Back

I love these novellas that bring us back into the Charley Davidson Universe. I love revisiting with the countless side characters I fell in love with while reading the series. The best thing about these novellas is that you do not need to read the series to enjoy these stories. They stand on their own. You’d get more from the story if you read the series but it isn’t a must. This is Eric Vause or Prince Eric’s story. He needed a break from living in the supernatural world so he escaped to visit one of his best friends in Idaho. Little did he know that the supernatural would follow him there. His best friend, Jason has asked him to help a friend of his named Halle.
This starts Eric’s solo adventure. This has all the laughs and heart that are a part of any Darynda Jones story and it’s part of why I love her books so much. This book does have some spice but it adds to the story and shows the growth between the two main characters. I loved everything about this story. It was a nice pick me up when I definitely needed it. This was beautifully performed by Lorelei King. She always does Darynda Jones’s stories justice.

A great novella

A great novella to add to this series. I really like the 1001 Nights since they are short and to the point. As usual, Lorelei King does a wonderful narration.

Best Narrator

The narration of the story is amazing. I just close my eyes and can picture the different voices as completely different people. If you are familiar with the series, you will understand when I say, I wish beep was in it, however, as a side story, it was extremely interesting and kept my attention throughout.
