I love how thought provoking this book is. So many lessons to learn and things to think about. I like to compare cs Lewis with the scriptures and match many of his words in belief and faith.

The analogies of the afterlife

Lewis' trademark story-telling is on display here. Interesting characters and unexpected accents to the story. His doctrinal ponderings come out while he also "merely" gets down to the main point of surrender to Christ. Good twist at the end. Not an overall 5* for me as I felt there were some loose ends in the story, but well worth the read/listen.
Narration for this book was very well done and enjoyable. I let the book play at standard speed rather than speeding up, as I usually do, because I so enjoyed the performance.

Classic Lewis, well performed.

From start to finish, the story and voice performance captured my attention— so much so, that I completed it all in one night. The story itself was brilliant. It fully saturated my imagination and immersed it in vividly depicted scenes and experiences, as if I was there. Brimming with thought provoking concepts, C.S Lewis both playfully and directly delivers a creative allegory, touching on subjects of life after death, freewill, and the spiritual journey.
