A psuedo biography of Woodrow Wilson.

This book barely touches on America's role in the first war. It is written well enough but gives little to no information about the war itself.

Insightful & Detailed

Barret does a nice job of covering the Wilson Presidency, sentiment of the American Public, and events of the Great War. Very detailed and mostly unbiased, but it does seem to lack a little passion @ times. One doesn't really feel anything towards Wilson or the dough boys charging into German bunkers. I'm informed but not moved.

I enjoyed this book

It gave a good understanding of the public sentiment of the First World War as it was happening.

Just right

Garrett touches the surfaces perfectly. Without getting mired in minuta, the author goes deep when called for, and stays at level when appropriate. I enjoyed this book immensely and have listened to it six times!!!

Nice Book

Good book. Covers post war as well. Narration was 3.5 stars. Some parts couldn't tell where quote ended. Would recommend
