It all comes down to this.
Charlie Rhodes has come a long way.
She started out as a young woman trying to find a reason for her magic, going as far as to hide in the one place they were looking for her.
Now the final battle is here.
Charlie is in Detroit, surrounded by new faces, and looking for the final piece of the puzzle. Between the reapers, zombies, mages, brujas, loas, and gods, she has her hands full. Death is barreling toward her and taking no prisoners.
Sybil wants to kill her to prolong her life. Charlie just wants to be free to live hers.
This war has always been written in the stars. Now it’s finally here. Who will win?

A good storyline, but way too much Zoe's mouth, and what really bugged me was the narrator changed the pronunciation of Asling's name. I thought she said Ashley a couple of times. All in All, it was Ok. Previous books were so much better. This book needed something more, just did not hold my interest.

loved the story and it was fun and funny. my only issue was the narrator kept saying Aisling's name wrong.

I absolutely loved how the author pulled the story and intertwined lives to a conclusion for Charlie. I also had to laugh at the antics of others. I might even quote Lily these days “bah bah bah”. I don’t want to say too much as it might give away spoilers just know this was a fast paced book that covered lots of ground, and tied things up well.

Fabulous wrap!

After all the books about or including The Grimlocks, Ms. Araya should have known how to pronounce Aisling’s name!
Now, if Amanda M. Lee wrote Ashland, shame on her!
As usual, the story is full of entertaining unusuals. I’m only half way through but the Aisling/Ashland thing is driving me nuts and is very distracting.

The name is Aisling not Ashland

I love how all the series feeds into one big story line. Out of all the books I have read during this series, this is only time I was annoyed with something and the was with how the narrator pronounced Aisling Grimlock’s name. It was more like Ashling with totally crazy. I love to listen to Jennifer Jill Araya but this is bugged me.

I have been hooked and have spent to much on all Amanda M Lee’s series starting with Covenant College. But it has been worth it. No regrets.
