The cold waters of Lake Genosgawa hide a terrifying secret.

After his first encounter, waking dreams torment 11-year-old Greg Camden. The creature in the lake feeds on his emotions, driving him deeper and deeper into his own nightmares. She tried to break him and feed on his fears that horrible summer, but instead, she imparted a psychic gift…

Twenty-one years later, Greg joins forces with the survivors from neighboring Oneka Falls to put an end to the demonic infestation once and for all.

Can they survive a battle with The Hag?

This is a great follow up to his first novel and characters and their mission against the demons . I enjoyed how they have to figure out new ways to stop the demons and the well done job of flipping back and forth on time lines. Explaining events that happen in the past
And leading up to a new character who joins the team.

Great Continuation

I still have several hours left and I will finish this regardless. I really like the story, the writing is fabulous. However, the narrator....I don't want to be unkind, but oof, this is hard to listen to. He has assigned Brooklyn accents to some of the characters, but this doesn't hold throughout, seems to come and go. This is set in a small town in upstate New York not New York City. A few of his interpretations are very reminiscent of the 3 Stooges, And as a bonus, every once in a while a Southern accent drifts through. Like back woods Arkansas. This accent doesn't hang around thankfully. Again: oof.
Kerr, you have a lovely voice when you're not trying out accents, but by all that's holy, please please rethink what you've done here.

Worst narration I've ever heard

I had to stop listening. the narration was awful. the accents and the character voices were way off. ot was his incessant demon laughter was what finally made me unable to continue. too bad, though, because the story line was okay.

terrible narration

The narrator in the first book was so much better than this guy. This is my second listen and I’m so sad the first guy couldn’t narrate the whole series.

I do not like this narrator 😫😖
