Easy listening and great story!

Had a lot of fun listening to this book! Scott Allen did a great job with the different inflictions in his voice for all the different characters.

A Fantastic Intergalactic Adventure

Ingrid Moon's "The Handler's Gambit," narrated by Scott Allen, is an action packed adventure. Boone has a brilliant mind that is always evaluating and calculating the situation. i dont have alot of time during the day to listen but i found myself listening late into the evening.

Scott Allen was flawless, he brought each and every character to life (Vindik was my favorite). he was a perfect selection for this book.

I really enjoyed listening to The Handler's Gambit and i would highly recommend it.

War games.

The author Ingrid Moon imagination is really amazing on this first book of the series.
Using a great game muster to fight a war is a genius move, the only question is “ will it work “ ?

This whole week I watched the
complete series of the
hunger-games including the new one and In a weird way this book is a reminder, only this game is played in space, moves and counter moves, a war like 3D chess with amazing brains strategies which is the real twisters in this whole book.



Beautiful narration by Scott Allen for each of the characters in this creation.

Hit the ground running

Came across this series at a comic con, and decided to pick it out on a whim.

Overall: fun fast paced sci-fi boarding on YA. Comparable with the Red Rising series.

Intro: felt very rushed to get into the meat of the story, characters are just kind of shoved into your face, honestly the only weak point in the book.

Story: once you get into the pace of the book things start to click into place, characters are a bit one note with distinct roles to push the story. I’m looking forward to them being more fleshed out in the following books.

Narrator: excellent choice, he does the “gruff” and “powerful”voices of the males characters, and the female voices were not off putting like with other narrators.

Will be picking up second book, hoping the 3rd comes out soon.

Great battle sequences

This book had a pretty good story and some really good battle sequences. There's a bit of a strategy game underlining that at first was confusing, but after a few scenes, I started to understand. My only criticism is that it had a bit of a YA vibe that I wasn't into, but for overall story those little elements are more about my taste than the quality of the story. I also liked some of the techy stuff that was incorporated throughout the book.
