Jarrah and Archer Garibaldis make the journey to Castle Bax in an attempt to organise a betrothal between the eldest brother Jarrah, and their recently widowed and tortured queen, Anyana. But when Anyana sets her sights on the youngest brother instead, she unwittingly sets them all up for centuries of unrequited love, unbridled lust and absolute hatred all wrapped up in a Romani curse that they may never be able to escape from.

700 years later
Elle is thrilled when the travelling 'Harlequin Bros' circus comes to town, because it's always been her dream to be an aerialist, and because she feels herself being drawn to the dark Harlequin Brothers, Archer and Jarrah, almost immediately. The Harlequin Bros Circus isn't like other outfits after all- it's dark, twisted and sexy and known for its Adults-Only Midnight shows, so when Elle is offered the chance to join them she leaps at it the way only an aerialist can, not realising that Archer Harlequin doesn't want her there, for fear that he'll literally devour her- and because that's exactly what his brother, Jarrah, wants him to do.

Because nothing about the midnight show or the Harlequin Bros is an act. In actuality, it's a nest of paranormal creatures who have banded together out of desperation and in hopes of out-running the curse that has plagued them for centuries.

And nothing about Elle being thrust between Jarrah and Archer Halrequin- again- is an accident either, because it's Archer's fate to have and then kill her... and Elle is the only one who doesn't know that.

I want to see what happens next. 🙄I knew he should’ve done away with the brother. Now I wanna see the brother get what’s owed to him. I feel like there should be some sort of acknowledgement in the blurb when this is a series otherwise a person believes it’s one and done. Now I gotta wait. I’m more aggy with that than virtual voice.
