Virtual narration is awful

Good story but difficult to listen to with virtual narration. I find most books no matter how well written are ruined with virtual narration

AI voice is hard to listen to

Stories were good but no inflection in voice made it difficult to listen to. It takes some getting used to.

I would’ve preferred an actual reader;but, it didn’t distract too much. I’d still recommend this title.

enjoyable light haunting compilation

I especially enjoyed the first of the three. I was sick and in the mood for some spooky but not super intense ghost stories and these were perfect. Performance three because the AI mispronounced some things but did a generally okay job. I know not all authors can afford live readers. I don't rate books often, and just wanted to show my support for this author.

Please stop using virtual voice

The stories are all loosely similar and pretty good.
I had a lot of playback errors, telling me I'm offline and can only listen to stuff in my library. This book IS in my library. I would be listening then all of a sudden it would turn off. Maybe my kindle, I don't know.
The stories are all pretty much the same theme. Aunt dies and leaves estate to a woman who has people trying to get the house from her. The stories are pretty good.
Narration, Oh where to start. Please stop using virtual voice. the fluctuations are incorrect. Like, "what lies in the road? A head?" Instead of "what lies in the road ahead?" Just as an example. At first it was funny, but not for hours and hours.
