Mitch and Mary Harrison, struggle to survive in a world quickly falling apart. Government restrictions, moral decay, and food shortages make it difficult for the twelve friends to carry out their calling to help others. Doing so requires taking risks and stepping out in faith. But is it worth the risk as families in the area are on the verge of starvation?

As the world accelerates toward global government, those in The Haven decide if they can courageously follow Jesus’ call to love your neighbor as yourself.

I loved this story. The virtual voice is a little weird and sometimes pronounces words a little “off” but definitely not a big deal.

The Christian values were awesome.

Current events make it realistic

This book was really thoughtful and interesting. Mr Holbrook used the events of the past 5 years to set his story and then took it even farther. The story was good and the characters were interesting. The Virtual Voice narration was not my favorite, but it’s not the worst I’ve heard, either. This book makes you think and encourages me to hope in the future.
