Characters and production not up to snuff!

This book by Louis L'Amour, was not up to the standards I've come to appreciate on Mr. LAmours writing and the superb production of the readers. However, Mr Culps voice was the wrong voice for these characters. It was hard to imagine that Either of the female voices belonged to a young and beautiful woman, they sounded like old women and not particularly attractive either. The main character Mike shelvin also sounded old and unlikely to be the heroic figure.

truly a joy to listen to. doesn't get much better than Louis glamour I have never read a book of his I didn't enjoy

Reliable L’Amour

One can always rely on good story by Louis L’Amour. This is another good one!

LL my favorite, however......

A bit long winded. Had to rewind quite a few times to grasp context. Otherwise, another great book!
