This book was recommended by a friend and I really enjoyed it. Such a storyline!

Love it!

This book is incredible. I had never read a YA book before, as I am 57 years old, and this one got me!!!! I couldn’t put the book down. I grew so attached to the characters, the town, and the circumstances. I just needed to know the truth. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see what Brooke Lauren Davis comes up with next.

Beautifully written

Considering this is Davis’s debut novel, I’m very excited to see what she writes next. This story had me on the edge of my seat, especially the second half of the novel. It’s an incredibly interesting story dealing with themes of parenthood and family all told from the perspective of a young woman whose sense of family is, well, pretty complicated. The prose are heartbreakingly beautiful but in the best way possible. I hope Davis is working on her next book because I just want to read more.

This was so well done and kept me engaged. Great debut novel for Brooke Lauren Davis! Can’t wait to see what she does next. Bravo!

This book dragged on and on. I never really got into it. The narrator was excellent!
