The "Hot and Spicy Mamitas" are Marilyn Martinez, "a cross between Brett Butler and Rosanne Barr but funnier"; Sully Diaz, a "comedy goddess"; Dyana Ortelli, "an enchilada plate con chilito picoso"; Lydia Nicole, "a wolf in sheep's clothing"; and Ludo Vika, "a comedy femme fatale".

Considered to be some of L.A.'s hottest Latina comics, these outrageously funny comediennes offer fresh points of view with a punch. They are joined by special guest Willie Barcena.

For Adults Only: Explicit language. Must be 18 years of age to purchase.

Editorial reviews

"We’re hot, we’re spicy, and we’re all yours...for an hour," so begins the Nuyorican Sully Diaz, a comedy vixen who claims to be a virgin and a mother at the same time. What follows is an hour-long comedy club appearance recorded in 1998 by The Hot and Spicy Mamitas, an all-female cadre of Latin funnywomen. Diaz is joined by Dyana Ortelli, Lydia Nicole, Ludo Vika, and the late Marilyn Martinez. Listeners are treated to comedy on subjects ranging from motherhood to racial clashes in America to the problems of getting hit on by Japanese men. The language is occasionally explicit.

"Five unregulated, exquisite, vocal, and sinfully delicious Latinas who are definitely going places. They will rock your comedy world." (Latin Style Magazine)
