A Ghostly Warning

The House on Dead Man's Curve is not to be taken lightly or as a joke as a team of paranormal investigators soon find out. The saying is "Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it" truly applies to this book. I truly enjoyed listening to this book it was suspenseful, entertaining, and full of twists and turns with an ending I did not see coming.
Barbara Henslee did an excellent job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this book it is not super scary, but the paranormal twist is worth it. I received this book for free upon my request. I am leaving this review that is honest and unbiased of my own free will.

The hunters become the hunted

Intriguing ghost story with a devilish twist! Ms. Henslee’s narration grabs you from the first moment. Well done!

Scary good!

The House on Dead Man’s Curve is a great ghost story. Two paranormal investigators are spending a week at a haunted house. There are a lot of unexpected events that kept me on edge until the end. I couldn’t stop listening and stayed up well beyond bedtime to finish the book. Then I was afraid I’d have nightmares! The story is well written and the characters seem real. The narration by Barbara Henslee was excellent. She brought the characters and spooky story to life. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

A suspenseful modern ghost story.

No time is wasted before things start to get strange. The author flushes out details nicely; leaving the reader with plenty to think about. I enjoyed the legnth of the tale. The "what's gonna happen next-next"; was right in bingable range to reach the end. The narrator did a splendid job bringing to life the author's words. In sum, grab this title, definitely worth a road-trip. :)

what a great read, edge of your seat

This was a really good book. Not my normal read but would definitely listen to more from this author. I was left sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next twist and turn. I was not expecting the ending.
