The only thing twenty-six-year-old Dayton August loves more than being C.E.O. of the software company he co-founded right out of college, is enjoying the fruits of his labor. From his limited edition Mustang, tailored suits, luxury watches, top-shelf dining, and weekend getaways with beautiful girls, to his luxury condo on the north side of Chicago, he's living the life he'd always wanted. But with the sudden death of his maternal grandfather, he unexpectedly finds himself in possession of a quaint Indiana farmhouse on the outskirts of nowhere; complete with a barn, two dogs, and a broken-down '49 Harley. That ridiculous state of affairs should have ended with a quick yard sale and a real estate listing; but his unanticipated fascination with his childhood memories in that place, and the pretty, unassuming small-town girl who has captivated him, forces Dayton to determine what is really most important in life . . . and whether or not he's willing to pay the price to obtain it.

Moving, loving, heart felt with a dab of excitement

I truly enjoyed this reading. I was pulled in so far that I can see and feel what was going on; I was in the story and didn’t want to stop reading…I wanted to know what was going to happen next that I was pleasantly excited to move to the next chapter…the story pulled me in and didn’t disappoint…what a great read.
