A sequel that elevates the story of the first book

While I enjoyed The Nightmare Room, I did feel like in some ways I was missing out on the bigger picture. The Hungry Ones dive further into the lore that The Nightmare Room established. Before the end, it will dig its hooks into you to finish the trilogy.

This was a great book full of twists and turns I finished it in one day I had to find out what was going to happen
The only thing is I felt it was a short book It is worth the credit

Enjoyed the characters in this story. Especially, Sister. Creepy. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this Audible

This one is hard to rate

The book was good and it made sense in the end but during the middle of the book I won't lie I had to go back a relisten to some parts.

More enjoyable than anticipated

When I first started this series (I didn't know it was a series), I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. The Nightmare Room started off slow, and I thought it would be predictable. By the end, my interest was peaked enough to move on to The Hungry Ones. It was free on Audible at the time, so why not. In my opinion, each book in this series is better than the last, and The Messy Man was the best one by far. Looking back, I never would have guessed these stories would have taken the turns they did. It was all very engaging and thought-provoking.
It's nice that each book picked up where the last left off. I do think it could have been made better with a different narrator, but I can understand an author wanting to narrate for themselves to complete their vision of the story.
All in all, I would definitely recommend the whole series to a friend
