Appearances can be deceptive—this is a book like no other. It contains untold riches—every word a tiny particle of story from the universe of His Dark Materials, made alive for us by the writer's imagination.

Every word will give you an exciting new glimpse into Lyra's world. Every word will give you an astonishing insight into the storytelling mind of Philip Pullman.

So step into the imagination chamber. Listen carefully; linger over each story particle. And be amazed by what you find.

While I did enjoy this, it's not really a book.
The first half hour is tiny snippets of thoughts about various characters.
Middle half hour is an interview with the author.
Last chunk is a round table with the cast and crew advertisement for the TV series.

I kinda feel slighted by the bait&switch

Not really a book...

This is literally a series of disconnected sentences that lasts for 1/2 hour. the rest is an interview with the author.
It’s not a book. It’s not even a story.
Just flip through it at the bookstore and move on with your one, precious life.

Don’t waste a credit on this.

This was absolutely not worth one credit. The best part was the interview with Will and Mary Malone - which should have been a podcast episode and not part of the “book”. Going to ask for a refund.

So annoyed
