However, a pleasurable dalliance with a lovely, titled Lady in Venice leads to trouble, and our man is on the run. But someone, or something is watching over him, for in his escape, he meets the perfect woman. At least for him. And she wastes no time in collecting him.
The trouble with such slow aging is that anyone around them for more than a couple of years will see the lack of age and claim them witches. No one likes a witch, and the fiery stake calls.
