Delightful Urban Fantasy

I was very entertained by this first book in the "Delta Underground Operatives" series. The author wrote a creative story combining action, humor, and great characters. Damien was the epitome of dark lords, and Clara was the perfect humanitarian. I enjoyed their sparks and clever dialogue. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Annalee Scott's narration was great, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Damien and Clara’

Damien and Clara become partners even though the differences that doesn't really seem like they would work. Worth reading and/or listening to.

Awesome adventure!

A psychic madman is on the loose and the only ones that can stop him is a vampire and a vegan psychic. This improbable pair have to learn how to work together to become the assassins they are meant to be.
I love all of Sarah Noffke’s books and this one didn’t disappoint. I definitely recommend!

Love this

Clara and Damien are polar opposites, but they must come together and learn to work as a team if they are to protect magic from the evil forces in the world. Clara a quiet, shy vegetarian and Damien an outgoing, loud, vampire must learn to live with each other’s gifts and quirks now that they are bonded and that includes meals. It is a lot to take on but they must try hard.
This is the first book in the series and I am grateful for the beginnings. I like knowing how things start and not just drop in along the way. The voice actor for this book, Annalee Scott will have you lost in the book like you are there living with them and helping the pair along so you might want to take the long way home. The characters are fun and believable, they remind me of brother and sister with bad sibling rivalry. This is a great series so far and I cannot wait for more
