By this point in the series, I felt like I finally had a lot of the background information I’d been missing in the earlier books, though I still could’ve used a bit more detail in places. I really liked that this one was told from the half-breeds’ point of view—it added a fresh and interesting perspective to the story. The pacing and action stayed strong, and the twist on the zombie theme continues to set this series apart. Overall, a solid addition that kept me engaged from start to finish.
