The Italian Girls

The sun hung low in the sky, casting pink light all over the city. A faint breeze blew over the rooftops, as flocks of starlings swirled above her, swooping and diving in unison. Beautiful story

Beautiful storytelling with a wartime backdrop. Enjoyed the different experiences of the two main characters. Good narration as well.

Interesting points of view

My only suggestion would be that there was no attempt to incorporate the Italian voice, things incorrectly pronounced, would have thought it was narrated by an English person in Italy instead of a native Italian.

Good book but..,,

It was very slow for a very long time. Finally about 3/4 wat through I was interested enough to stay til the end. A lot of description and narration. , not enough action.

This is a well written and a captivating story. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. It was wonderfully presented also.

Story was interesting but had a slow start. The fact that this was a story about Italy, It was bothersome that the reader had a British accent and pronounced pasta as pass-ta
