Japanese Detective Sergeant Tokito Kolihishi has about had all of the dismal death investigations he can stand. One more pushes him too far. He might be from ancient Samurai stock, but it is time to leave the battlefield to others. He obeys his father's summons to America, there to restore to its original beauty, an crumbling, falling down Japanese Temple and open a Steakhouse within. But there is much more than meets the eye. The Temple is carrying some kind of curse. His instinctive nature is to investigate it and stop it. With the help of a lovely Japanese woman, or two, he finds the demon.
