Holy Cliffy!

This was the best yet in the series! Finally got a little action between the sheets...AND one of my other “gripes” was resolved as well! I was flying high...and then the cliffhanger!! This is why I wait to start a series when all books are available...off to book 5!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ overall!

Book 4 is 4.5 Trifecta - Still going strong!

First and foremost: Kudos to Addison Barnes for a nearly seamless change in narrator. It’s a tough position to be in when the original voice actor was popular with listeners. Barnes deserves high praise for her performance.

Vincent seems to accomplish what few authors can. We’re heading into the fifth book
and the series hasn’t lost an ounce of steam.

To be fair, the length of each book is on the short side, so it’s probably most accurate to compare Book 4 to the 2nd or 3rd installment of other series.

Even with that consideration, Vincent weaves a tale full of hooks that keep you securely vested in knowing what comes next. Even without a steep cliffhanger, listeners no doubt would still be eager for book 5.
