I was surprised to find that the The Jungle Book was more of a collection of short stories rather on story about a boy who lives in the jungle. many of these stories have been produced into short cartoons under different titles. The book itself was a little hard to follow. The stories read more like poems than actual stories. I was nice to have actually read it.
