DNF

have you ever started reading a book and wondered "is this book 3 in a series and I skipped the first 2 books?" this is such a book. The characters act strangely with no context, the dialog doesn't always make sense, and it's just boring. I gave up after about an hour. Nothing really happened and I figured that didn't bode well for the rest of the story (which I wasn't even mildly interested in finding out about.)

Poor story writing and the inter team conflict felt forced Oddly, the trans shape shifting dragon felt like it didn’t fit.
