For former Marine sniper Dox, a long-range hit in Cambodia was supposed to be just business as usual. But when you find yourself mixed up with rogue intelligence operations, gorgeous bar girls, and the world's worst human-trafficking heart of darkness, business is anything but usual. And making it personal is the most dangerous business of all.

Short but immersive with the same philosophical descriptions rolling out via well drawn characters in an assassin’s world. Worth your time.

Gold standard Eisner. Plus it’s Dox!

A nice Dox short! Anyone who has read Barry Eisler's books is familiar with Dox. Typical Dox story of romance and killing.

I’m usually not a fan of the author narrating a book, but Eisner did a good job. Interesting story that moved at a good pace.

Great little short story

Good short story that helps understand more about Dox, since I’ve already listened to The Killer Collective”. And also since listened to first audible book in the Livia Lone series and about to listen to 2nd book, “The Night Trade” which is when Livia meets Dox, I believe. I’ve also listened to first book in the John Rain series. My point, of the Barry Eisler books I’ve listened to, I’ve enjoyed thoroughly and have become very interested in all the characters that intertwine within these series.
To add, I really enjoy the narrative piece of these audibles. Eisler’s voice is perfect for good story-telling.
