The Kings Librarian

In the lands of Windoria the Elves are in danger of being wiped out by Man. The recently crowned King Baricon is being manipulated by his Chamberlain, Darran Whipwand who has an agenda all of his own. When the King of the Elves is thrown into the dungeons of Castleford things are looking pretty grim for the future of the elves.
Whisper, a half elf Ranger being pursued by Thrall, is on a mission to carry a magical dagger to the Northern Elf Hold when she climbs into a room at the inn and meets a Man, Kieran, a Messenger for the King. Using her abilities Whisper senses his inherent honesty and entrust the dagger to him before escaping. So begins their relationship and life will never be the same for either of them again.
Djanae, the Head Librarian at Castleford, home of King Baricon, has become disillusioned with her vocation. Once in charge of eight trained assistants who helped run the library, now there is only her left to manage it. King Baricon spends all his time and money entertaining his nobles, feasting and gaming and little is left to spend on the library. One day, as Djanae is taking a large book, written in an unfamiliar language, back to the reference section, she trips and the book goes flying. It falls open and a portal to another place and time opens. Without too much hesitation Djanae steps through and eventually, with the help of the wizard Falneth, learns to master Time.
So begins the adventures of Djanae, Kieran and Whisper as they strive for a solution to end the war between Man and Elf.
