great story..narration a little off

loved the story - easy to follow even though it jumped back and forth between two decades. narrator was a little off with a few characters but not enough to ruin it by any means! I got used to it.

Great Story

After listening to Mr.Winslow’s beach thriller I took a chance on this “prequel “. It turned out to be pretty good listen.
Both story and narration are good. I listened to this almost end to end. Excellent easy to digest action story. I will now try the “sequel “.

Great characters

Don Winslow’s stories are well planned and keep you interested all the way through. He doesn’t drag out any parts .. one of my favorite authors.

Entertaining overall.

I enjoyed the book. I did find the timeline a little hard to follow as it shifted multiple times throughout.

Another funny, fast paced thriller from Don Winslow with great narration. I highly recommend this audiobook.
