When Gage learned that George DiCarlo thought he would make a great match for his youngest daughter, Gage was not interested. Not even if she was beautiful, talented, kicked butt on hiking trails and could challenge even his love of skiing.

When Jonquil's learns about it a year later, her reaction is exactly the opposite. After watching the rest of her sisters fall in love with the men her father hoped they would connect with, she is curious about the one he had planned for her. But Gage is not making it easy and plenty of problems stand between them - her half-sister, Angela, from her family back in Philadelphia seems determined to keep her on her toes and threats against Gage's family keep them guessing all the way.

Jonquil is the youngest sister out of six George DiCarlo half-sisters, and oldest in the family where she grows up. Her father very reached and he spent money on her, which made the half-siblings she grow up with being very envious. She was not stock up, but it never helped her relationships with her half-siblings. Her dyslexia did not help either. She is very smart, strong and beautiful, but her insecurities make her believe that she is not smart enough.

Jonquil has to go through many difficulties in life in order to believe in herself and find true love.

The narrator did a great job with character voices and made this book even more enjoyable.

This is the last of the series . The youngest sister. The father knew that Jonqil and Gage was perfect for each other . In order for the deceased father to get his wish with Jonquil and Gage he made all the daughters live on resort . Jonquil is a happy go lucky sort of girl , a free spirit , that loves gardens and flowers . Jonqil is actually looking forward to her match
Gage has an issue , hes trying to help his sister with her gambling addiction . There is a guy that is pushing him to sell his resort . With everything that is going on Gage doesn’t think it’s the right time to show how he feels about Jonquil

Valerie Gilbert was excellent again telling this story . Her voice is smooth, strong , clear and perfect

I have enjoyed getting to know these sisters and the men who they have fallen in love with. I am sad that this is the final book in the series.

Gage knew that he had been marked as husband material for Jonquil, the youngest sister but he was not interested. Jonquil had no idea and when she finds out, she is excited by the idea. Having watched all her sisters fall in love, she too wants it all.

Sadly, Gage does not appear to be on board and outside forces are keeping them apart. Jonquil feels she is not good enough or smart enough and in her eyes doesn’t measure up to her sisters. What she doesn’t realize is that he has feelings for her but Gage feels the time is not right.

Can Gage and Jonquil finally be on the same page and find love or are they destined to be alone?

The narrator has been consistent throughout and this made listening enjoyable.

the story and writing were good, although not as great as the first five. I just didn't love this one as much as the others. don't get me wrong, it was still a great book and very entertaining. but something (I can't put my finger on it) was not a fabulous as the others! the narration was good as always.

a fitting end to the series.
