Sherry Woods is on cloud nine. From the first moment she and Emily looked at each other they were in love. Well, at least in her mind. Sherry is an erotomaniac. She suffers from a delusional belief that a person is in love with her, despite contrary evidence. Filled with an uncommon form of paranoid delusion, she will do everything in her power to make Emily hers, including murder.

Will having Emily close push Daniel to throw caution to the wind and go for what he wants? Will invading Daniel’s comfort zone allow Emily to see that her feelings are shared? Or will they both run out of time when an enraged Sherry steps in to claim what’s hers?

Joy and pain

Anyone who enjoys African American urban fiction will truly enjoy this story. There was really not much I could find wrong with it. It was just sad, but joyful at the same time. Without giving too much away it was about two women and one man. And love wanted and unwanted. I found myself cheering for the characters and at the same time hating other characters, but it was a true page turner.
