An intriguing story line that could be so much better if not for the overuse of the word, HOWEVER.

Great narrator

Storyline was good, but choppy. I appreciate that the book covers a lot of ground, but there a too many moments that jump forward that could be used to add color to the story

A Twist at Every Corner

(Note: some minor spoilers. Best to read Book One to understand).

The sequel to The Mountain of Lost Souls, The Last Hope follows Malina's journey after the end of Book One. The Once and Future King is not what Malina was raised and trained to believe. To assure her world does not fall in a coming battle, Malina and her group of Chosens must join forces with the very ones they infiltrated in Delnor. The question is: will they believe the King Slayer?

Great storytelling, captivating, and had me turning the pages one right after the other. Can't wait to begin Book Three.
