The gate of hell is opening—and he must stop it. Darkness rises in the land of Llad--and only unity, courage, and the light of truth can stand against it. In this epic conclusion to The Chronicles of Llad, the Windweavers—Ladnar, Darby, and Sheba--must unite elves, dwarfs, meres, wizards, prairie dogs, and the mysterious light fairies to stop Barshahor, the fallen wizard, who seeks to open the Gate of the Underworld. As ancient relics awaken and alliances fracture, the half-elven Ladnar must rise beyond his role as a new Wizard of Toth. But not even his power may be enough. When magic fails, will faith, humility, and sacrifice be enough to turn the tide? Rich in world-building, layered with spiritual depth, and filled with heart, humor, and high-stakes adventure, The Last Light of Llad is a triumphant finale for fans of classic fantasy with a modern soul. Perfect for fans of C.S. Lewis, Joseph Delaney, Terry Goodkind, and J.R.R. Tolkien.

“The Last Light of Llad” wraps up Randall Weber’s trilogy perfectly, and the narrator absolutely crushes it.
Every character has a distinct voice. Ladnar sounds heroic without being cheesy, Barshahor is genuinely menacing, and you can easily follow who’s who even in the chaotic battle scenes. The narrator knows exactly when to slow down for the emotional beats and when to ramp up the intensity.
The final battle had me holding my breath. The way the narrator delivered those climactic moments gave me actual goosebumps.
If you’ve been with the series from the start or you’re just discovering it, the audiobook is absolutely the way to go. Fantastic narration from start to finish.
Can’t recommend it enough.
