Fresh Take on Urban Fantasy

There isnt anything I disliked about these first 3 books of the series! These are my first books by this author and let me tell you, she knocked it out of the park! I have read a lot of UF and each of these books had the perfect blend of plot (I was literally messaging her trying to guess things as I read the books), action and spice.

The characters are well-written - Veronica, our FMC, is so relatable and I loved the slow burn romance (with loads of tension and yearning) between her and Thane, the MMC. I espeically liked that although Thane is easy on the eyes, Veronica grows to learn more about him as a person too.

Mirro does an excellent job describing the powers, magic, and abilities of the various groups and the action scenes between them all were fantastic! There were even a couple plot twists that took me by surprise!

I recommend this series 100% and cannot wait to listen to the next in the series.

Narration:
The audio for these books was great! The voice for Veronica sounded great, with the perfect amount of sass, confidence, and curiosity! Inflection and pacing were spot on too!
