One shot. One kill. A deadly sniper targets the only man to escape him—Jack Widow.

A sniper is out there, murdering the best shooters in the world until he’s all that’s left. Widow is the only man to survive an encounter with the suspect.

This sniper is a whisper, a phantom, a ghost, known as the Rainmaker. His shooting falls somewhere between the best there ever was and godlike.

As the Rainmaker murders the world’s top shooters in cold blood, one by one, only Widow can track and stop him.

Do you love Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp, and Mark Greaney’s Gray Man? Then you will binge the entire Jack Widow action-thriller series once you’ve heard one minute.

Lots of time shifting in the story - not a fan of that, but overall a good book.

Widow is a big bruiser and in the first part of the book he breaks his arm and gets a concussion, yawn. An elite sniper is hunting down other snipers and in the end they seek to protect his last target. They do no recon of possible hides, they station two guys outside the targets house in plain view. A small helicopter stolen by the bad guy buzzes the house where everyone is sleeping and Widow is the only one who wakes up. He then goes out into the snow with no cover or alerting anyone and gets caught in a tight spot. Then the bad guy walks right into the house that isn't locked and gets the drop on everyone and no one wakes up instead of waiting for a chance to pick off the final target from thousands of yards away as he's trying to prove hes the best sniper. Time to move on from Widow cool character but stories lack luster.

Predictable, nonsensical
