First off, I have to say—the dual narration absolutely made this such a fun and engaging listen! The relationship between the male lead and his mother was such a highlight for me. You could really feel the closeness in their family dynamic, and I loved how it showed emotional maturity without leaning into toxic masculinity. The self-awareness, the honesty—this was just a genuinely beautiful love story from start to finish. I’m always here for a romance with no games, just grown adults who know themselves and what they want. I really loved this one.

Beautiful performance and amazing love story with no games

Beautiful, love story with no drama Btwn the mmc and fmc. It helps that these two are among my fave narrators. Sometimes a good ole love story with a HEA is what the soul needs.

Imagine showing up to the hospital to see one of your best friend’s baby and the baby has yo boyfriend’s entire face. Yup! Let’s just say things get heated quick and now you’re sad and heartbroken.

One year later. You’re not looking for love but you’re open to dating. Imagine going to help your other best friend and her fiancé with a photoshoot and you see the finest man to grace your presence. One thing leads to two and y’all are so into the shoot, kisses are being exchanged, bodies were touched and now y’all living rent free in each other’s head.

$2500 bid at an auction for a date. That date was THE 1st date. What happens after is Callie and Thane choosing to see just how good, how far, and how amazing things could be between them.

This story gave me all the feels and I loved it. Thank you Mrs. Brown.
