Cozy Mystery with a Twist

This audiobook kept me hooked from start to finish. I liked how the small-town setting made the mystery feel personal and layered with secrets. Also, Claire is a relatable character and her determination pulled me in. The mix of suspense, emotion, and just a touch of the eerie made it stand out from other cozy mysteries. If you enjoy small-town secrets and a good who did it , this is a great pick.

The premise of a bakery owner drew me in turned amateur sleuth and found Claire’s emotional drive both believable and relatable. The partnership with FBI profiler Samantha added welcome depth and balance, especially as the investigation turned toward hidden symbols and secret histories.
